Understand where the work stands and change direction when needed.
Read the current state
A task may be running, waiting for information or approval, or finished. Waiting is not the same as failure. Read the latest message and the reason before choosing a next step.
Adjust work in progress
Add instructions in the original task. Use the available stop or cancel control to end the current execution. Stopping does not automatically undo file changes or external actions that already happened.
Continue after an interruption
Return to the task, check its last state and existing results, then explain what should continue. Local tools require the computer and relevant applications to remain available. Cloud and local tasks have different running conditions.
