Start your first task

Turn an idea into work you can begin with a clear objective.

Pick something specific

“Draft three launch posts from this product brief” is easier to start than “help with marketing.” Explain who the result is for and what form it should take.

Bring context and materials

Open a new task or workspace and prepare the following.

  1. Describe your objective, audience, context and output format.
  2. Attach relevant files. Select a local work directory on desktop when needed.
  3. Add style, scope, timing or other constraints, then send.
  4. Review the response and answer questions that help clarify the work.

Review and refine

Check the result against your objective and identify the specific parts to change. Try “Keep the second direction and make the tone more natural.” You can also adapt a starting prompt from the Inspiration page.
